Good to know
- Compact app that suits smaller iPhones
- Fixed and progressive jackpots
Worth checking
- No Google Play listing found, Android plays in Chrome
- Two bingo formats: 90-ball and 75-ball
Posh Bingo sets itself apart with its look rather than its game list. Its branding goes for a more grown-up feel than many bright, busy bingo sites. The brand is run by Broadway Gaming Ireland DF Limited, which also operates Wink and 888ladies.
Posh Bingo on iPhone and iPad
The Posh Bingo app is in the App Store, sold by Broadway Gaming Ireland DF Limited. It runs on iPhone, iPad and Apple silicon Macs. The app is smaller and simpler than the big-name bingo apps, which is part of its appeal: fewer tabs, fewer banners and a quicker route to a game.
Posh Bingo on Android
On an Android phone or tablet, open the Posh Bingo site in Chrome. The mobile site uses the same account and offers the same rooms, so nothing is lost. Add it to your home screen from the Chrome menu and it opens like an app.
The lobby and rooms
The lobby lists rooms with their ticket price and prize, and jackpot rooms are marked as such. A compact app with fewer sections is easier to handle on a smaller iPhone, which is where Posh Bingo makes the most sense.
75-ball and 90-ball games
Posh keeps to two formats:
- 90-ball bingo, with prizes for one line, two lines and a full house.
- 75-ball bingo, where the aim is to complete a pattern on a 5 × 5 card.
Both formats include fixed jackpots, where the prize is set before the game, and progressive jackpots, which grow until someone wins. Check the room details to see which type you are playing for and what it takes to win it.
Using the Posh Bingo mobile site well
The mobile site is the route for Android players and a handy back-up on an iPhone with little free space. It uses the same log-in as the app, and your balance and settings follow you. A few habits help: keep the browser up to date, allow the site to stay signed in on a private device only, and close other tabs before a long game so the page stays quick.
Adding the site to your home screen gives it a proper icon and opens it full screen, which makes the experience very close to the app. On a shared tablet, sign out when you finish.
Safer play and account tools
The account area follows the Broadway Gaming standard, with deposit limits, time-outs and self-exclusion. The app includes age checks at sign-up and links to GambleAware. As with every UK-licensed brand, you can also block all gambling sites at once through GamStop.
Payments run through the cashier in the app. Debit cards are the standard choice; credit cards cannot be used for gambling in the UK.
Who Posh Bingo suits
Posh Bingo suits iPhone users who like a calm, elegant app with the two main formats and a mix of jackpot types. It is a good fit for smaller phones. If you want a wider range of games or a native Android app, look at Mecca Bingo, with apps on iPhone, iPad and Android, or Kitty Bingo, with six formats and an Android app. Wink and 888ladies share Posh’s operator.
